Sidamethrin 50 EC
Sidamethrin 50 EC is a contact and stomach poison insecticide in the form of a yellow emulsifiable concentrate (EC) to control important pests in corn, cocoa, cotton, soybeans, cabbage, mustard greens, and tobacco. Cypermethrin in the IRAC (Insecticide Resistance Action Committee) classification belongs to the Pyrethroid 3A group. The pyrethroids are contact and stomach poisons that act on the nervous systems of insects and interfere with the function of neurons through interaction with sodium channels.
This insecticide does not cause phytotoxicity in plants when used as directed. Sidamethrin 50 EC is easily soluble in water and does not interfere with spray equipment.
